Area51 QandA 2

Q: What is your favorite video game of all time? A: Here's a hint- It starts with "Gears" and ends with "Of War". Click on the link to the right for the full answer.

Ah yes... "Gears of War" or as I like to call it - "Sleepkiller 9000". Seriously, I've never played another game (Even Halo) where I kept saying to myself "One more round, then I'll go to bed. One more round." And before you know it, it's 6:00am on Saturday morning.

Why is it my favorite game of all time? The graphics are probably the prettiest graphics I've ever seen in a video game. The action is great. The multiplayer balance is fantastic and fair. Perhaps most importantly, the game emphasizes teamwork and communication better than any game that's come before it. (Even CounterStrike) There's nothing greater than picking 3 friends to roll with online, knowing that you each have your own specialties and roles to play, and taking it to another team that is playing 'hero ball' (every man for himself.) The team I play with all the time has a few members that hop on from the bench, but if you're ever up late on Xbox live on a Friday night, you can gladly find me and challenge "The A-Team".
