Our History:

Our church was started in October of 1909 when a group of about sixty people banded together for the purpose of establishing a Christ honoring,Bible believing, and Gospel preaching church that would be a beacon light in the South Bay.

The first meetings were held in the Masonic Hall at 110 N. Catalina. In November of that same year the church was formally organized and the charter was signed by thirty people.

Reverend A.H. Lloyd was the first pastor and served for one year. The pictures at the right show three different phases of the physical building.
